Meeting in Spain

The first Learning meeting (job shadowing) was organised in CEIP Pla de Girona primary school. 9 teachers were observing teaching process in different classes where CLIL method was used in Science and Art&Crafts lesson. The English teachers applied this method for different graders starting from Form 1 and ending with the oldest ones in Form 6.
Prepared Observation sheets and Questionnaires for teachers were used with the aim to indentify both the content and language aims, to measure how much time is spent on TTT (teacher talking time) in the foreign language and on STT (student talking time) in the foreign language, to identify all used teaching techniques, to get a collection of didactic CLIL materials used in participating schools. It was enough time for sharing experiences and expertise of observed teachers during team discussions after each observed lesson (with the aim to get the whole picture of the situation in each of the participating schools).
